Blackstone Boulevard Condominium

This is a condominium complex located on Blackstone Boulevard on the East Side of Providence, Rhode Island. The condos had gone years without attention to the exterior of the building. The condo association determined that it was time to repair and re-paint.

The house was pressure washed using a chemical rinse down process. Numerous carpentry issues were addressed with everything from rotted sills being replaced to soffits being "tightened-up" being done. There were also many masonry issues that were fixed as the exterior siding of the building was made out of stucco and had experienced a bit of cracking as the building had weathered over the years. All peeling areas were thoroughly scraped. One full coat of C2 premium oil-based exterior primer tinted to match the finish coat color was applied to all bare wood areas in order to seal, protect, and ensure proper adhesion. All rusted metal areas were scraped/sanded and then primed with one full coat of Rustoleum, oil-based, rust-oxide primer. The finish coat was applied to all included siding using one coat, Sherwin Williams, latex, Exterior SuperPaint, flat. The finish coat was applied to all included trim (other than doors) using one coat, Sherwin Williams, latex, Exterior SuperPaint, satin. The finish coat was applied to all included doors using one coat, Sherwin Williams, latex, Exterior SuperPaint, gloss. The finish coat was applied to all included iron rail/previously painted black metal areas using one coat, Rustoleum, oil, gloss.
