Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council

The Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council (WRWC) is an organization that aims to improve the environmental, recreational and economic assets of the Woonasquatucket River watershed. LOPCO is proud to partner with WRWC in its conservation efforts through such events as Olneyville SHINES (an annual event aimed at cleaning and improving areas of Olneyville which is one of the communities that the Woonasquatucket River runs through). In this day and age when many companies like to promote how "Green" they are, LOPCO enjoys being able to work with an organization such as WRWC to take an active role and set an example within the business community as to what it feels "going Green" should, in essence, be all about.
